Score Construction
PGS Name GIANT_BMI_2025_PRSCS
Development Method
Name PRS-CS
Parameters This score was generated using PRS-CS with default settings and its --AUTO option, based on a multi-ancestral GWAS meta-analysis (AMR, AFR, EAS, EUR, and SAS combined) combined with a previously described multi-ancestry 1000G-based LD reference panel (PMID: 34887591). Variants were filtered to those with MAF≥0.1% and INFO≥0.8 in the overall UK Biobank.

Performance Metrics

Disclaimer: The performance metrics are displayed as reported by the source studies. It is important to note that metrics are not necessarily comparable with each other. For example, metrics depend on the sample characteristics (described by the PGS Catalog Sample Set [PSS] ID), phenotyping, and statistical modelling. Please refer to the source publication for additional guidance on performance.
