Score Construction
PGS Name Short Sleep UKB+MVP EUR (meta-analyzed)
Development Method
Name PRS-CS
Parameters UKB and MVP EUR GWAS summary statistics were meta-analyzed using GWAMA v2.2.2 with default settings. Posterior SNP effect sizes were then inferred using PRS-CS with the 1000 Genomes European LD reference panel, HapMap target variants on GRCh38, a=1, b=0.5, phi=auto, and other parameters default; no clumping or P-value thresholding.

Performance Metrics

Disclaimer: The performance metrics are displayed as reported by the source studies. It is important to note that metrics are not necessarily comparable with each other. For example, metrics depend on the sample characteristics (described by the PGS Catalog Sample Set [PSS] ID), phenotyping, and statistical modelling. Please refer to the source publication for additional guidance on performance.

Reported Trait: Short sleep (<=6 hours) OR: 1.14 Age, sex, study center, ancestry principal components; race additionally included in BHS. The score was constructed from meta-analysed UKB and MVP European-ancestry GWAS summary statistics using PRS-CS and evaluated across ARIC, HCHS/SOL, MESA and BHS. Fixed-effect meta-analysis p for heterogeneity = 0.47. HCHS/SOL analyses incorporated sampling weights.
